Taking Embarrassment Like A Champ

I used to have a beta fish named Lil' Wayne. His lyrics are appalling and he's a terrible role model, but I just can't help but love him. He and Eminem do this song, "Drop the World." Seriously awesome song, if you haven't heard it. One of the lines in Young Weezy's rap is actually pretty applicable to real non-thug rapper life: "Confidence is a stain you can't wipe off." Our confidence is always going to smear every once in a while, but it's so important to retain that attitude of loving yourself and knowing you are who God made you to be whether or not you screw up. No one will love you any less. So if you trip in front of class, forget how to talk, or come out of the bathroom with your dress tucked into your underwear, you've got to remind yourself that embarrassment is only you dwelling on something that can't be changed and is not a big deal in the scheme of things. Everyone else just thinks it's funny. Just let yourself be the comedian.

Genisus 2:25 "Adam and his wife were naked and they felt no shame."
