Baby Beluga

It takes a heck of a lot of work to figure out how to love your body. My body and I are pretty tight. We joke around with each other. Sometimes it's really not funny...come on, thighs, cellulite is just taking it too far. But for the most part we've got a healthy relationship. Everyone has their lapses in self-confidence, but even when they're feeling hot they feel like they have to pretend they don't so they don't look conceited. Um, that's dumb. When you look hot, it's totes fine to just be like, yeah. I'm hot. Also, there's def a fine line between staying fit and obsessing. Super important to keep that in check. Believe me. When my bff is feeling down on herself, or if I'm having one of those bad self-image times, I love to read Psalm 139, particularly verses 13-16:

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
